ZPAs history goes back to the 1950s, when the ZPA Trutnov national enterprise was founded. The private ZPA CZ s.r.o. company was created through privatisation in 1994.
Initially, production focused on ripple control receivers, and ZPA remains one of the leading producers of these systems today. In the late 1990s, production was expanded to include electronic electrometers, initially under a Swiss license; today, ZPA develops and produces these systems independently. In addition, the company has developed products in the fieldof automation and control of technological processes, as well as designed and created systems for data acquisition and remote data transfer.
The company now focuses primarily on products and services in the area of metering and regulation of electricity. These services include the production and supply of electronic electrometers (including complementary modules), systems for remote reading and acquisition of data and other gauges, ripple control receivers, systems for electricity consumption regulation and a variety of other systems, such as for example for the efficientcontrolofpublic lighting. The company guarantees the quality of its activities and products through certification pursuant to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
In 2006, ZPA Smart Energy began a new phase of its development, through the investment in the company by Kilcullen Kapital Partners; our new shareholder will bring opportunities to conquer the global market and strengthen the corporate team. The change includes the introduction of a new corporate name and brand ZPA Smart Energy, which expresses our company strategy of becoming a global provider of metering and regulation systems.
